I've tested this with an LG GGC-H20L and a Pioneer BDR-206. BDR-206DBK. The result was Windows 10 then found the BDR-208 but no longer saw the 205.

After buying the Pioneer BDR-206 and two Verbatim 97344 25 GB 6x Blu-ray Single-Layer Recordable Disc BD-R LTH (Low to High), 20-Disc Spindle, I was ready to go. I had already upgraded the firmware on the BDR-206 to version 1.05, which is as simple as downloading the firmware updater from the Pioneer web site, and double clicking on it.
I'm testing on a fairly quick system (i7-950 & 6GB of RAM). I already tested: Sony and TDK and it doesn't recognize these brands.
